Job Description:

This position will be filled at Fort Greely or Fort Wainwright. Incentives and Bonuses Incentive in the amount of up 25% may be authorized. PCS move is authorized. Eligible for COLA (amount depends on duty location).

A qualified candidate must possess the following: Demonstrated related work experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position. Work experience must have be equivalent in complexity, difficulty and responsibility to the next lower pay band level. Possess work experience developing market research programs, data analysis, business practices and economic principals. OR Completion of the requirements for a master's or equivalent graduate degree in marketing, advertising or closely related field. Specialized education developing market research programs, data analysis, business practices and economic principals. **You must submit your transcripts at the time of application to receive consideration based on education. In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered Best Qualified and may be referred first. Application package must support your response. Possess managerial, supervisory or team lead experience managing a Family and MWR Marketing Department or comparable military branch (i.e. Air Force FSS, Navy MWR, MCCS). Possess minimum of 2 years of Family and MWR experience at a medium or large size installation or comparable municipal government entity. Possess academic degree in marketing, communications, business administration or related field.
Formulates and implements marketing policy and procedure for MWR programs.
Develops plans and directs the execution of market research, analysis and assessment.
Evaluates effectiveness through attainment of goals and analysis of business trends and market share.
Develops sales, promotional and merchandising strategies, brochures and pamphlets.
Directs subordinate staff in assisting managers market and promote their programs.
