Job Description:

You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the Surface Assessments Branch, Fleet Technical Support & Industry Management Engineering Oversight Division, Engineering and Planning Department of PSNS and IMF.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: performing logistics management functions by researching and compiling logistics data on shipboard conditions to identify problems with Total Ship Readiness Assessment programs for ship maintenance work. You will identify problems concerning NAVSEA Ship's Configuration Logistics and Information System policy and procedures.
You will review and analyze the data generated by Total Ship Readiness Assessments (TSRA) and other ILS evolution and document the recommendation directed at improving supply support.
You will collect, review, analyze and create various data and reports in conjunction with the stated assignment for use in evaluating, documenting and reporting various TSRA support and effectiveness and condition of Fleet units.
You will expedite critical material or configuration requirement or coordinate alternate sources of supply such as NAVSUP-Naval Supply Weapons System Support (NSWSS), Type Commander (TYCOM), Residual Asset Manager (RAMM), and other fleet assets.
You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
