About the Position: Position is within Department of Behavioral Health, primary work environment will be at the Child and Family Behavioral Health Service (CAFBHS), delivering care to children, youth, and family members. Incumbent will be trained on and expected to follow the Modular Approach to Therapy for Children (MATCH). Work hours: 0730-1630, Mon-Fri, excluding Federal holidays. This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Basic Requirements for Social Worker (Clinical): Degree: Master's degree (or higher degree) in social work from a school accredited by the Council on Social Work Education. In addition to meeting the basic requirement above, to qualify for this position you must also meet the qualification requirements listed below: Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service which includes: 1). Conduct behavioral health evaluations to patients of all ages to include children; 2). Develop behavioral health treatment plans or recommendations for patients of all ages to include children; 3). Provide individual or group clinical counseling to patients of all ages to include children; and 4). Communicate orally and in writing with patients of all ages. Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the experience qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
