Job Description:
You will serve as a Manager in the Combat System Installation Division, Modernization and Installation Department of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the ND-04 pay band or grade level (GS-12/13) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: As a professional engineer leading the technical planning and implementation of ship modernization and installation by developing strategic engineering work processes and procedures and ensuring appropriate, safe, compliant, effective and affordable application of ship engineering projects. You will provide project management, planning technical direction, and personnel management for the Fleet Modernization and Installation Division.
You will ensure compliance to requirements from the branch level through Department of Defense level requirements.
You will develop and maintain work processes and procedures and ensure appropriate application and compliance.
You will develop and brief position papers to all levels of management that outline current and future plans. requirements, and concerns, manage projects, budgets and contractor support requirements.
You will provide technical direction and management of fleet deliverables, communicate and clarify mission and organizational goals and objectives to employees,
