Job Description:
This position is located at MWR Community Recreation Division in Fort Campbell, KY. This position is eligible for the NAF benefits package and leave accrual. Resumes must be two pages (or less). Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position. A qualified candidate must possess the following: 1. Applicants must have experience performing work similar to the duties listed above. 2. Must be able to manage multiple projects and determine priorities of work under the guidance of SOPs, APF and NAF BOSS regulations, and immediate supervisor. 3. Ability to learn military correspondence procedures and dealing with the public. 4. Must also possess excellent verbal and written skills in English. 5. Must have a working knowledge of basic software, i.e. Knowledge of budget formulation and administration is also required. In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified": 1. Possess a minimum of 1 year experience using a Government Purchase Card. 2. Possess a minimum of 1 year experience managing an MWR program. **Applicants that meet the Highly Preferred criteria will be referred to management for consideration first. Provides guidance to the BOSS Executive Council members based on established policies and procedures.
Oversees, plans, coordinates, and administers BOSS programs such as community service, Life Skills, and recreation and leisure events.
Prepares and submits annual NAF budget. Tracks finances and accounts for monies, collects applicable fees for events, and inputs data into management information systems and point of sales system such as RecTrac and ACRRO.
Coordinates with the NAF Support Division Sponsorship Coordinator for sponsorship opportunities. Works with MWR Marketing, assists with special events.
Coordinates and administers monthly meetings, briefings, and counseling. Performs other duties as assigned.
