Job Description:
You will serve as a PRODUCTION WORKFORCE MANAGER (PROJECT) in the Production Resources Department of PSNS and IMF.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-11) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing and evaluating production workforce plans and resources to resolve scheduling conflicts and prevent production delays to manage production requirements within resource constraints and sustain the execution of ship and submarine repair and maintenance projects. You will manage overall project manning requirements by developing and implementing customized, fiscally responsible workforce plans in support of overhaul, repair, and maintenance projects.
You will maintain awareness of changes in project plans and allocated resources to ensure timely completion of planned work, and mitigate risks that could negatively impact project objectives.
You will gather, analyze, and input information and data and organize and maintain information or information management systems.
You will apply quantitative and qualitative methods, measurement, fact finding, and investigative techniques to provide managers with objectively based information for making decisions on the administrative and programmatic aspects of agency.
You will create written project plans and status reports to monitor and track project workforce assignments, and advise stakeholders on corrective actions necessary to maintain project objectives.
You will collaborate and communicate across boundaries and within teams to build strategic relationships and achieve common goals.
