In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-02 pay band (GS-11 equivalent) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Performing professional contracting work analyzing and evaluating procurement requirements, performing pre or post award contract administration, price or cost analysis, and negotiation of contracts including modifications for an organization. You will maintains records which require application of a variety of techniques and methods to manage contractual data required by Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and local requirements.
You will determine a wide range of contracting methods and contract types to plan and carry out pre award and/or post award procurement actions.
You will solicit, evaluate, negotiate, and award contracts with commercial organizations, educational institutions, and nonprofit organizations.
You will administering contracts by assuring compliance with the terms and conditions of contracts, including resolution of problems concerning the obligations of the parties.
You terminating contracts by analyzing, negotiating, and settling claims and proposals; analyzing and evaluating cost or price proposals and accounting systems data.
You will complete cost and/or price analysis techniques to evaluate cost and/or price proposals, contract changes, repricing actions and final contract pricing; and to conduct or participate in negotiations on cost and/or price issues.
