Job Description:

This position is located with the NAF Financial Management Office on Fort Wainwright, Alaska. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives may be paid. Up to $10,000 recruitment or relocation incentive may be paid (service agreement required). Recruitment incentives are applicable to newly hired individuals/rehired individuals. Relocation incentives are applicable to current, regular full-time NAF employees accepting a position in a different geographical location with no break in service.
Resumes must be two pages (or less). Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position. A qualified candidate must possess the following: 1. Possess one (1) year of work experience demonstrating knowledge in functions such as time and attendance; review documents & records for accuracy and compliance with internal policy and/or guidelines; and establishment and maintenance of records and/or administrative files. 2. Must have excellent working knowledge of automation. 3. Must know how to prepare and manage reports. 4. Must be proficient in Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and Power Point. 5. Must have experience with Microsoft Office software. In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified": 1.Experience working with a personnel database/system. 2. Experience working with Blue Force or comparable timekeeping system. 3. Experience working with Corporate Electronic Document Management System (CEDMS) or equivalent. 4. Experience working with manning document/table of distribution and allowances (TDAs).
Responsible for preparing and tracking NAF (Nonappropriated Fund) civilian personnel actions in an automated system for accuracy prior to sending them to the HR personnel office.
Review and screen Request for Personnel Actions (RPA) for elements that affect the organization structure or staffing levels.
Monitors and reviews all NAF personnel performance evaluations at the organization’s headquarters level ensuring all submissions are in compliance with internal guidelines and policies.
Coordinates with NAF HR for matters relating to payroll inquiries and problems, relative to premium pay and command pay policy, and leave accrual issues linked to time and attendance.
Establish, maintain and manage filing systems in accordance with Army Records Information Management System (ARIMS) for all correspondence, reports, payroll files, and proper record disposal.
