As a Supervisory Immigration Services Officer (Associate Regional Director), you will perform varied and complex duties that encompass the full range of USCIS programs. Assignments involve a high degree of independence with respect to the organization of the work, all aspects of the implementation strategy, and the form and substance of the final product.
The qualifications for this position must be met by 11:59 PM (Eastern Time) on 12/01/2025. Current Federal employees must have served 52 weeks at the lower grade or equivalent grade band in the Federal service. You must have experience performing the following duties: Planning and directing major agency-level immigration projects. Managing major components of immigration operational programs and their support functions. Serving as an expert or consultant to senior management officials on the resolution of extremely sensitive and complicated immigration uses to include all areas of Immigration and Nationality Law and Procedures. Directing the development of nationwide policy and program initiatives. Organizational Location: This position is located in the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, within Field Operations Directorate and are assigned based on the need of the agency.
Direct immigration programs and related functions in accordance with program objectives and policies established by USCIS Headquarters and higher-level supervisors.
Assume responsibility in dealing with officials of other units or organizations, or in advising management officials of higher rank.
Exercise authority to set regional adjudications program, performance management, records and quality assurance procedures, staffing and budget for program operations.

Plan work to be completed by subordinates, set and adjust short-term priorities, and set target dates for work completion. Coordinate, direct, and oversee subordinates and exercise responsibility in advising management officials

Oversee the administration of immigration benefits and services, including the processing of all applications, and the effective operation of immigration benefits and administrative functions within the region’s jurisdiction.
