Job Description:
You will serve as a TECHNICAL PROJECT MANAGER (ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL) in the Global Deterrence & Defense Dept (GX), Global Deterrence & Defense Department DDH (GXD) of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER. The salary range shown above represents all of the positions within the band, including high grade positions. This is not a high grade position; therefore, the salary may be limited to a GS-13 Step 10 (currently $137,000).
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing and evaluating technical project resource requirements to develop, plan and execute project schedule, milestones and deliverables to improve efficiency and execution of program operations. You will establish and implement corporate objectives, identify customer requirements, establish clear and achievable objectives, and track and report project status.
You will coordinate with Performing Division Managers, approve the appointment of Task Managers, coordinate with various Financial Management Core Teams and Project Analyst to establish funding structure and execution of workload.
You will analyze performance indexes, such as schedule performance, cost performance, percent complete and percent spent.
You will Identify trends and recommend necessary actions to resolve current or potential performance, resource and/or funding problems.
You will maintain project cost, schedule and quality for the customer.
You will participate in workload, technical capabilities, strategic and other planning development activities with the Customer Advocate, Chief Strategist, and ensure compliance with Estimating Guidance for NAVSEA Warfare Centers.
