Job Description:

This position is located in the Office of the Chief Administrative Officer (OCAO), Office of Human Resources (OHR), Office of the Director and is responsible for coordinating and performing a variety of management programs impacting OHR to include serving as OHR's lead HR data analyst and systems subject matter expert (SME), collecting, validating, and analyzing hiring and recruitment metrics across multiple platforms to produce dashboards, briefings, and recommendations.

OPM Qualifications Standards are available here: Administrative and Management Positions Specialized Experience is experience that has equipped applicants with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the federal service. For this position, the next lower grade level is a GS-12. Specialized experience for this position includes: Experience in leading complex data management projects, interpreting data and analyzing results; Experience in developing and establishing new methods for measuring and improving operational effectiveness and productivity; and Experience in preparing and presenting data-driven recommendations to management; produce and maintain data visualizations, dashboards, and reports used in program reviews and decision-making. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
The physical worksite for this position is located in Alexandria, Virginia.This position is eligible for situational telework per agency and business unit discretion/policy. You are a detail-oriented and can prepare and present data-driven recommendations to management; produce and maintain data visualizations, dashboards, and reports used in program reviews and decision-making.
