The Work:
 

We are seeking a
 QA automation
 
engineer
 
design
s
,
 
develop
s
, and
 
execut
es
 
automated test scripts to ensure software quality. This role involves creating test plans,
 
writing
 
and
 
maintaining
 
automated tests using programming languages like Python, and working with development teams to
 
identify
 
and resolve bugs. They often collaborate with DevOps on releases and use tools such as Selenium
.
 

Core responsibilities
 

Design and execute tests: Create and implement automated test scripts to verify software functionality, security, and usability.
 
Write test plans: Develop detailed test plans and test cases, often using test management tools.
 
Report and manage defects: Report bugs and work with developers to troubleshoot issues and ensure fixes meet quality requirements.
 
Collaborate with teams: Work closely with development and DevOps teams throughout the software development lifecycle,
 
participating
 
in agile ceremonies like daily stand-ups and sprints.
 
Maintain automation frameworks:
 
Maintain
 
and improve automated testing systems and pipelines, sometimes within a CI/CD environment.
 
Troubleshoot issues: Investigate and resolve problems with automation software and systems
 
 
This is a hybrid role in Nashville, TN and will require 3 days per week in the office.
