In addition to the basic education requirements, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience in applying social science principles to evaluate, consult on, and advise in the implementation of integrated prevention programs across various settings including prevention of destructive/problematic behaviors, including suicide, sexual harassment/assault, substance misuse, and family/interpersonal/workplace violence. Experience in developing, implementing, and evaluating prevention programs and practices. Experience identifying, implementing, and evaluating effective prevention methodologies. Experience effectively communicating both orally and in writing with all levels of management, staff, and military personnel. You will be responsible to supervise/oversee all aspects of the planning, managing, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating training, education, and outreach for integrated prevention programs.
You will interview candidates for positions; recommends appointment, promotion or reassignment.
You will identify employees developmental and training needs, provides or arranges for needed development and training.
You will establish prevention activities and leads or supports program evaluation and performance assessment activities
You will oversee, review, and direct prevention actions and projects across programs, and ensures completion dates are met within established timeframes.
