Job Description:
You will serve as the STRIKE SYSTEMS SUPPORT (S3) LEAD in the DIGITAL ANALYTICS INFRASTRUCTURE AND TECHNOLOGY ADVANCEMENT (DAiTA) GROUP, INTEGRATED BATTLESPACE SIMULATION AND TEST (IBST) DEPARTMENT, INTEGRATED COMBAT ENVIRONMENTS (ICE) DIVISION, ELECTROMAGNETIC COMPATIBILITY (EMC) BRANCH of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or DP-04 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Applying knowledge of multi-spectral environment generation, stimulation of installed avionics systems under test, and Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3) testing; 2) Evaluating the feasibility and technical value of proposals and test configurations of other professionally mature engineers and scientists; 3) Demonstrating project management, resource allocation, budgeting, technical oversight and technical direction of test programs and development efforts; 4) Implementing distributed simulation, installed systems testing, interoperability, E3 testing, aircraft systems, training systems, and aircraft avionics systems; and 5) Determining test requirements and the verification, validation and accreditation (VV&A) of test configurations in an Installed Systems Test Facility (ISTF) and E3 test environments. You will provide expertise in Electronic Warfare (EW), Installed Systems Test Facilities (ISTF) execution, Interoperability, E3 test methods and techniques, and their application to the Testing and Evaluation of affiliated aircraft systems.
You will be responsible for the successful planning, coordination, execution, and reporting of Strike Systems testing for mission systems and E3 support utilizing all ICE facilities.
You will work across the Division to align resources, capabilities, and investments to ensure platforms covered under this position receive the support that is required for the developmental, integrated, and operational evaluation of Strike Systems.
You will provide detailed program plans that include engineering studies, design and development plans, and support milestones for new and existing simulation systems.
You will perform technical analysis and evaluations, and formulate recommendations for systems acquisitions and upgrades for the ICE Division of the IBST Department in support of platforms covered under this position.
You will develop budgetary cost estimates for new system developments, write technical point papers and justifications for funding, prepare procurement packages, review contract proposals, and coordinate installations with other departments.
