Job Description:
You will serve as a ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST (Action Officer) in the Command Department (00), Ordnance Assurance & Safety Office (00SA), of NAVSURFWARCEN IH DIV. This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-03 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to the GS-09 and GS-10.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-02 (GS-05 through GS-08 equivalent) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: performing action officer functions (i.e. coordinating and facilitating division wide initiatives, tracking actions/milestones, presenting data to leadership) to assist with development and tracking of metrics for improved management operations, processes, or procedures for an organization. You will serve as the Action Officer for the Ordnance Assurance and Safety Office coordinating and facilitating division wide initiatives and efforts.
You will track actions/milestones and present status to leadership on projects.
You will develop metrics to track operational efficiency and provide recommendations for improvements.
You will assist with ensuring organizational compliance with applicable federal, state, and local safety regulations
You will prepare required safety reports for submission to internal and external customers.
You will maintain the Division's SharePoint site; develop briefs and presentations, create and distribute command documentation, and assist in the development of safety trainings.
