ND-04: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the ND-03 pay band (GS 9-11 equivalent) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector as a professional Engineer performing engineering/scientific work involving electronic circuits, circuit elements, equipment, systems, and/or associated phenomena. ND-03: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the ND-02 pay band (GS 5-8 equivalent) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector as a professional Engineer assisting in engineering/scientific work involving electronic circuits, circuit elements, equipment, systems, and/or associated phenomena. ND-02: You must have successfully completed a full 4-year course of study in an accredited college or university leading to a bachelor's or higher degree that included a major field of study as described in the Education section of this flyer. You will apply engineering principles to design, analyze, test, and verify analog or digital electronic devices and systems.
You will prepare documentation covering product requirements, system specifications, and maintenance procedures.
You will test and inspect the reliability and safety of electronic devices and systems, analyze data, and evaluate equipment performance under varying conditions.
You will evaluate system performance and recommend design modifications or equipment repair to improve performance and meet cost objectives.
You will integrate new or experimental electronic equipment into existing systems.
You will provide advice and technical expertise for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of complex electronic systems.
