As an Supervisory Operations Support Specialist, you will serve as the subject matter expert in administrative and management programs such as human resources, facilities, procurement, asset/fleet management, budget/financial management, telework, and customer relations; manage the organization, improve services and processes; plan and adjust priorities.
The qualifications for this position must be met by 11:59 PM (Eastern Time) on 12/04/2025. Current Federal employees must have served 52 weeks at the lower grade or equivalent grade band in the Federal service. You must have experience performing the following duties: Directing the resolution of issues affecting and impacting administrative operations, customer service, and technical subjects in a variety of functions related to human resources, operations support, and financial management; Applying and modifying established practices to specific administrative problems, including how to treat unusual circumstances or situations; Managing work load of department by adjusting assignments as priorities change; Analyzing management programs, principles, processes and systems in order to develop and maintain efficient operations; Performing liaison functions with other organizations to effectively present your organization's needs. Supervises a group of Operations Support Specialists who assess the productivity, effectiveness, and efficiency of program operations or analyze and resolve problems in the effectiveness and efficiency of administrative support and staff activities.
Serves as the subject matter expert in a variety of administrative and management programs such as facilities, procurement, property management, budget/financial management, human resources, telework and health and safety.
Makes recommendations that often serve as the basis for new systems, regulations, or programs or which serve as the basis for effective modifications or updates to existing systems or process.
Manages all administrative programs, activities and operations within a section or division.
Assigns work based on priorities and sets target dates for work completion.
Listens to and resolves minor complaints from individual employees, as well as resolves group grievances involving non-supervisory subordinates.
