The major duties of the Electrician position include, but are not limited to, the following: Appropriately apply the National Electric code (NEC) to projects in order to select the correct materials and methods for an installation or repair. Assists in the park's annual preventive maintenance schedule and annual operating programs for the electric shop. Provide technical advice, guidance, and support in the oversight of existing and proposed park facility buildings and utilities. Must be able to plan and lay out electrical systems from drawing and must interface new work with existing systems. Responsible for identifying and correcting job safety and health hazards.
