Job Description:

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the BUDGET BRANCH of COMMANDER US PACIFIC FLEET.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: managing, allocating, and monitoring financial resources in compliance with laws, regulations, and policies; or sufficient transparency and appropriate internal controls to ensure resources are efficiently applied to meet organizational goals and objectives, with consideration to fiduciary duty. You will direct or perform continuing program execution review, analysis, and appraisal of the major operating and support programs within the organization.
You will coordinate the development and reporting of cost/performance information in support of mission tasks for the organization.
You will promulgate approved financial management policies within the organization based on department policy, develop and issue implementing procedures, and ensure compliance with internal controls.
You will conduct management evaluation of issues of financial consequence raised in audit reports, budget reviews, etc. and recommends alternatives for corrective action.
You will plan work, set priorities, and schedule work as necessary to assure effective and expeditious accomplishment of priority work without adverse impact on regular and recurring work.
You will provide technical and administrative oversight, advice, and instruction.
You will develop performance standards and evaluate employee performance.
You will interview candidates, recommend potential hiring and promotions, assist with employee complaints and disciplinary measures, and identify and arrange employee development and training requirements.
