Job Description:
You will serve as a GOVERNMENT TRAVEL MANAGER in the LEGISLATIVE AFFAIRS BRANCH of HQ US MARINE CORPS.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Reviewing government and commercial airline schedules and booking services for various modes of air and ground transportation to provide comprehensive travel solutions for diverse and senior-level or executive clientele. You will initiate and coordinate planning and preparation of travel logistics.
You will serve as the lead travel advisor related to Marine Corps Congressional engagements.
You will provide instruction and guidance to military escorts on the specified travel requirements of assigned travel delegations.
You will serve as the main travel coordination liaison between Navy and Morine Corps legislative affairs departments.
You will collate and cross reference funding data
