A qualified candidate must possess the following: Progressively responsible experience, including supervisory or managerial experience that provided the knowledge of the goals, principles, methods, and techniques of recreation programs and an understanding of the interests of individuals or groups. Serves as a Supervisory Recreation Specialist for the Warrior Zone involved with managing, planning, organizing, and conducting recreation programs to support eligible personnel for Warrior Zone activities.
Such activities included, but not limited to, interactive gaming, food and beverage operations, movie theater, programming, billiards, and the BOSS Program.
Performs a full range of supervisory duties, including recommending recruitment or reassignment actions, conducts performance appraisals and submits for approval by the manager.
Initiates or recommends disciplinary actions; initiates recommendation for awards and pay adjustments, and recommends employee development and training programs, work schedules, etc.
Develops and plans publicity using installation media. Recommends items if supplies, materials, prizes, decorations, refreshments, and equipment needed for program functions.
