Job Description:

You will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in the Corporate Operations Department (10), Business & Financial Management (10F) of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER. The salary range shown above represents all of the positions within the band, including high grade positions. This is not a high grade position; therefore, the salary may be limited to a GS-13 Step 10 (currently $137,000).
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: evaluating and interpreting financial policies and procedures to develop cost-effective strategies for improved planning and management of funding, budget, or fiscal resources for programs, projects, or initiatives. You will serve as Department Analyst, utilizing financial knowledge to analyze and evaluate workload trend analysis to provide balance between project objectives, customer objectives, user objectives, and Crane objectives.
You will act as the financial expert for the development, planning, and management of financial plans for various projects.
You will update and analyze data in the current financial planning systems of record, Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (N-ERP).
You will develop cost estimates and budgets and perform oversight and monitoring of millions of dollars in government funding for urgent technical/management requirements.
You will analyze and evaluate data from various budget, accounting, and business management reports to compare actual performance with planned objectives to determine department health.
You will determine primary and additional funding requirements for the project and correspond with the internal and external customers.
