Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. You will serve as Explosive, Environmental and Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Technical Specialist at the Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Indian Head Division, Picatinny Detachment.
You will be responsible for evaluating the NAVOSH (Navy Occupational Safety and Health), Environmental and Explosive Safety Programs.
You will inspect explosive and industrial operations, facilities, magazines, and equipment and review documentation for adherence to safety's standards and precautions.
You will provide guidance on rules and regulations pertaining to industrial safety and the safety aspects of explosive shipment, receipt and storage of propellants, explosive and/or dangerous materials.
You will ensure explosive shipment, receipt and storage of propellants, explosive and/or dangerous materials are conducted in compliance with quantity, distance, compatibility, and security requirements.
