Job Description:

The incumbent supervises a group of Administrative Contracting Officers and other professional employees in conducting contract administration and oversight for the NNSA/NFO programs and business operations as executed by the M&O contractor and non-M&O contractors. Most of the contract actions overseen by the incumbent are complex, large scale, long-term, multi-million-dollar projects involving unique approaches to execution.

EN-03 (GS-13 equivalent). Specialized Experience is defined as: Experience interpreting and applying acquisition regulations. Examples of Qualified Experience: Experience overseeing acquisition policy implementation Experience guiding efforts to meet compliance requirements associated with policies, regulations, and statutes. As a Supervisory Contract Specialist you will: Serve as the Senior Administrative Contracting Officer overseeing the full range of administrative contract management functions and resolving complex issues having unusual sensitivity, political or public interest, or are precedent setting. Be responsible for interpreting and applying federal acquisition regulations, overseeing acquisition policy implementation, and guiding efforts to meet compliance requirements associated with policies, regulations, and statutes. Serve as the primary point of contact with headquarter offices and oversight of inter-office Service Level Agreements. Serve as the primary NFO point of contact for administering the NNSS M&O contract and serves as a liaison with the M&O contractor senior management of the prime contract to coordinate contracting actions, issue direction, and receive and respond to contractor requests. Serves as first level supervisor of approximately 10 employees.
