About the Position: This position is located at Lower Granite Project, operated by the US Army Corps of Engineers and situated on the Snake River, 32-river miles downstream from Clarkston, Washington. This Project provides hydroelectric generation, navigation, fish passage and recreation.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes performing three out of the six following duties: 1) Hydropower experience, 2) Ability to prepare and present briefings, 3) Maintenance engineering experience, 4) Set scope deadlines, priorities, practices and procedures for maintenance program 5) Experience representing any agency/company in front of stakeholders and other agencies/companies, 6) Experience in the regional power system. Serves as Chief of Maintenance at Lower Granite Project.
Responsible for the independent accomplishment of managerial and technical work involving the overall maintenance of Lower Granite Lock and Dam hydropower, fish, navigation, and visitor facilities.
As a principal assistant to the Operations Manager, participates fully in the planning of future work and projects, including project rehabilitation and research.
Plans, directs and coordinates through subordinate supervisors and crew foremen the activities of electrical, mechanical, structural, and general maintenance personnel in the performance of maintenance and construction hired labor work.
Coordinates new, proposed, and current construction activities by other agencies and the Corps.
Manages a multi-million-dollar, multi-year budget for routine and no-routine maintenance activities across several business lines.
