Job Description:

You will serve as a SECURITY SPECIALIST of NAVAL SYSTEMS MANAGEMENT ACTIVITY.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-13) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate performing duties such as the following; 1) Provide security analysis of programs under review including the assessment of personnel, physical, administrative, information and industrial security practices, internal policies and procedures; 2) Recommend, initiate and/or implement new procedures as necessary to resolve systemic security issues and security problems that may arise; 3)Establish and provide guidance implementing security policy relating to personnel clearance procedures, document storage, security classification and downgrading, classification management, indoctrination and termination briefings, classified document transmission, courier service, and security education training; and 4) Administer security indoctrination and termination briefings and inform individuals on the sensitivity of classified information and advise them on the proper safeguarding of such information. You will be responsible for providing support to a security program for which both scope and impact are of national and industry wide significance.
You will provide policy guidance, assistance and support to both government and industry participants of a contracting effort.
You will provide security analysis of programs under review.
You will assist in establishing and providing guidance implementing security policy relating to personnel clearance procedures, document storage, security classification and downgrading.
You will assist in establishing policy and provides guidance to monitor visitor access between the contractor, subcontractor, and the Program Manager, as well as clearance certification and other security criteria for contractor facilities.
You will maintain constant liaison with other agencies and departments to coordinate security matters of mutual interest.
