Job Description:
You will service as a Human Resource Specialist in the Office of Civilian Human Resources. This is a RE-ADVERTISEMENT of Announcement Number: ST-12841385-26-MAC Applicants that have previously applied NEED to re-apply to this announcement.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: - Assessing civilian human resources (HR) programs to ensure regulatory compliance. - Developing or identifying assessment requirements based on OPM and agency strategic and HR plans. - Developing assessment procedures and tools to conduct assessments. You will serve as program manager and DON expert in assessment and evaluation of civilian human resources (HR) programs with ongoing focus on regulatory compliance.
You will recommend and develop procedures, programs, data and information needed for DON to meet or exceed assessment requirements.
You will lead and direct assigned evaluation project support staff from other organizations and develop and defend funding requirements for assigned projects and initiatives.
You will coordinate program reviews and projects with DON-wide scope, including all elements of HR programs and all levels of the chain of command and the agency's HR service delivery organizations.
You will provide senior leaders with continuing data and information on HR regulatory compliance, command and workforce strengths and weaknesses, workforce attributes and problems.
