Job Description:
You will serve as a Supervisory Supply Management Specialist of NAVSUP FLEET LOGISTICS CENTER JACKSONVILLE,Site Panama City.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector; applying administration of daily logistics and supply systems operations; establishes goals and objectives for the department based on government-wide and/or activity policy and ensures goals are communicated, understood and achieved. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Providing NAVSUP Product and Service (P & S) functional areas to validate compliance with policy and current regulations while reviewing, approving or adjusting priorities; 2) Carries out the proper planning and execution of funding for financial allocations, phasing plans, execution plans, staffing plans, statistical reporting and activity reports; and 3) Executes and leads the following Products and Services: Postal, Household Goods and Hazardous Material. You will have knowledge of all technical supply functions such as property management, inventory management, hazardous material management, and quality assurance/control etc..
You will have technical and administrative knowledge of supply policies, procedures, management practices, rules regulations and principles.
You will prepare budget forecasting/input for the department operating budget.
You will analyze metrics and operations independently and resolve difficult issues and problems in the assigned area of responsibility.
