Applicants must have directly applicable experience that demonstrates the possession of knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Qualifying experience may have been acquired in any public or private sector job, but will clearly demonstrate past experience in the application of the particular competencies or knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to successfully perform the duties of the position. Such experience is typically in or directly related to the work of the position to be filled. Qualifying experience would be demonstrated by: -Experience analyzing trends, developing solutions and presenting findings on the apportionment of funds. -Experience monitoring execution and performance against a budget plan. -Experience analyzing and resolving routine financial and procurement problems. -Experience utilizing various financial and procurement systems and the relationship to the flow of funding. -Experience presenting financial and procurement status orally and written reports utilizing Microsoft Office Products or other financial systems. You will perform a range of functions in the financial management of communications fiscal year accounts for both Department of Defense and private party telecommunication commands to properly and accurately execute the command’s annual budget.
You will conduct all financial activities related to budget execution such as soliciting and submitting inputs for the annual budget formulation with agility to respond to data calls during its review by higher authority.
You will identify problem areas and recommend solutions and necessary changes.
You will receive, screen and recommend approval, disapproval or modification of financial documents based on availability of funds and compliance with regulatory regulations.
You will maintain Job Order Numbers to include various accounts.
You will collect funding on assigned accounts while monitoring daily until the current fiscal year concludes and accounts are closed.
