Job Description:

You will serve as a Financial Management Analyst in the Budget Submitting Office (BSO) Accounting & Oversight Branch of COMMANDER US PACIFIC FLEET. SALARY RANGE: GS-12: $92,520.00 - $120,282.00 GS-13: $110,020.00 - $143,027.00
GS-13: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: budget administration and oversight, general ledger administration, and development, determination, and interpretation of budgetary policies and practices, and/or Implementing legal and regulatory controls over approved budgets. GS-12: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: budget administration and oversight, general ledger administration, and implementation of internal controls and providing advice on effective and efficient methods for the acquisition and/or use of funds to support the organization's programs and activities. You will monitor current- and prior-year accounts to ensure execution does not exceed available resources.
You will develop and implement budgetary policies and practices that align with the Department of the Navy's Core Values.
You will review and evaluate budget requests and reporting of obligations and expenditures.
You will analyze and recommend the costs and benefits of alternative financial management methods for organizations, programs, and administrative operations.
You will participate in Working Groups, solicit feedback from participants, and elevate concerns or issues to supervisors.
