Job Description:

You will serve as a FLEET DOCTRINE & STRATEGY PROGRAM OFFICER in the Headquarters of MARITIME OPERATIONS CENTER.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: developing strategies and/or operational plans, assessing requirements and effectiveness, and/or analyzing complex issues affecting national defense priorities. You will lead the development and refinement of fleet-level doctrines, strategies, and operational plans aligned with U.S. Indo-Pacific Command (INDOPACOM) and Department of Defense (DoD) guidance.
You will collaborate with senior leaders, both military and civilian, to assess global strategic requirements and adjust fleet posture to ensure effective deterrence and response capabilities.
You will analyze complex geopolitical, technological, and operational issues that affect fleet strategy and doctrine, ensuring alignment with national defense priorities.
You will work with military and civilian stakeholders to assess the effectiveness of current operational concepts and identify areas for improvement.
You will develop analytical frameworks to assess fleet operations, incorporating data-driven assessments and recommendations for enhanced fleet readiness.
You will serve as the primary US Pacific Fleet Strategist and Doctrinaire and key liaison between the US Pacific Fleet and other military branches, agencies, and international allies to ensure synchronization of strategy and doctrine.
