Job Description:

You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the Program Executive Office for Integrated Warfare Systems (PEO IWS) of PROGRAM EXECUTIVE OFFICE IWS. The Secretary of Defense has ordered a department-wide hiring freeze subject to certain limited exceptions. Offers of employment related to this vacancy announcement will not be executed until the position has an approved exemption.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower pay band, NH-02 (GS-11 Equivalent), in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector conducting financial planning or budget analysis and utilizing financial systems/tools for organizational programs. You will provide financial planning, budgeting and program analysis for assigned combat systems for assigned appropriations, in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
You will be responsible for assisting with the implementation, management and execution of all elements of the Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution (PPBE) process for all appropriations that affect IWS programs.
You will implement and manage acquisition processes to document and execute the PEO IWS contract strategy as well as resource planning processes to efficiently capture and resource program office requirements.
You will work directly with combat systems, and ship platform program offices as well as external NAVSEA stakeholders to ensure acquisition, cost, and financial information is fully coordinated and provided in a timely manner.
You will prepare data for presentations or reports on financial goals, objectives, and information to meet programmatic, budgetary, management initiatives, and directives.
You will perform budget planning and related execution tasks, analyze various program requirements, and make recommendations on the allocation and execution of funds.
You will analyze proposed budget changes, prior to and in the year of execution, and make recommendations to accommodate budget changes.
You will review, monitor, and report on the financial status of programs to execute funds in accordance with planning documents and regulatory guides/policies.
