You will serve as the Chief System Administrator for the Research Development and Support Activity's (RDSA) Command Information Officer (CIO). You will be responsible for ensuring the security, reliability, availability, and accessibility of information technology (IT) systems, networks, and data. This position is located at NAVAL INTELLIGENCE ACTIVITY in Springfield, Virginia.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Serve as the principal cybersecurity advisor to executive leadership, translating complex technical risks into business-level impacts to inform strategic decision-making and resource allocation; Oversee the enterprise-wide compliance program, ensuring all information systems meet rigorous security controls and successfully achieve and maintain Authority to Operate (ATO); Establish and direct the organization's cybersecurity governance framework, authoring policies and standards to ensure alignment with federal mandates (e.g., Federal Information Security Management Act [FISMA], National Institute of Standards and Technology [NIST]) and strategic objectives; Develop and implement a continuous monitoring strategy that leverages automated tools and security analytics to provide real-time visibility into the organization's security posture; Evaluate and integrate emergent cybersecurity technologies and architectural patterns to continuously enhance the resilience of the enterprise against evolving threats; Analyze and report on the organization's risk posture to senior leadership, providing data-driven recommendations for risk mitigation and acceptance.
