Job Description:

You will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in the Global Deterrence and Defense Department (GX), Missile Systems Hardware and Test Division (GXW), Integrated Product Support Branch (GXWW) of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER. ***Open to applicants at Current ORG GX (includes divisions and branches.)
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing inventory management operations (e.g. planning, provisioning, distribution) to resolve issues ensuring material management or accountability related to ordnance inventory operations for improved material availability and weapons systems readiness. You will manage, coordinate, or otherwise exercise control over supplies, equipment, or other materials.
You will be responsible for one or more phases of material management including initial planning, provisioning and requirements determination, acquisition and distribution, accountability, and ultimate issue for consumption, retention, or disposal.
You will oversee a team responsible for the integrated management and control of weapon system Support Equipment (SE).
You will be responsible for requirements determination, material distribution, procurements, and development of cost and resourcing estimates.
You will be required to coordinate with inventory managers, contractors, and other organizations to initiate or require actions leading to identification, cataloging, procurement, maintenance, and disposal of material.
