Job Description:
You will serve as a IT SPECIALIST (CUSTSPT) of NAVSUP BUSINESS SYSTEMS CENTER.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience providing Federal IT customer service and a thorough knowledge of regional activities operational missions and IT requirements. Utilizing relevant IT tools and software including NET/NEST and others. Managing basic services and customer support through NMCI and ONE-Net programs. Experience with hardware, software, and infrastructure management. Applying methods and practices of IT problem management to support customers and provide solutions. Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving. You will serve as a CONUS regional Customer Technical Representative (CTR) in support of NAVSUP commands utilizing Navy Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI) and ONE Net contracts.
You will analyze data and resolve difficult technical issues related to IT systems.
You will coordinate and review proposed plans to ensure consistency with each activity's operational requirements.
You will provide technical assistance to regional activities involved in their renegotiation of existing IT contracts and to the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) in drafting Statements of Work (SOW) for task orders.
You will chair meetings between regional activities and the contractor for the development and review of installation or refreshment plans to ensure they meet the activity's requirements.
