Job Description:
This position is located at Outdoor Recreation, Fort Stewart, GA. This is a Regular Full-Time position with a minimum work week of 40 hours and eligible for benefits. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid.

A qualified candidate must possess the following: Specialized experience at a level that equipped the applicant with the required knowledge, skills, and abilities required for successful performance, to include: Experience in the planning and delivery of outdoor recreation programs to a large, diverse community. Experience in developing or assisting with program budget, providing recreation facility/equipment maintenance, and instructing program participants in the techniques of various recreation activities. Leadership experience gained through supervising or mentoring lower-level staff.
Develops, manages, maintains, plans and administers outdoor recreation activities programs to support eligible personnel. Schedules and publicizes outdoor recreation activities.
Develops and executes program budget. Recommends new programs that are cost effective and ensures that program emphasis is on those activities most appropriate to the interests of the population served.
Coordinates with installation, county, and state officials on programs and information related to recreation programs. Researches, plans, and develops or modifies outdoor recreation areas.
May provide programming support to therapeutic recreation activities. Provides a full range of supervisory functions to assigned staff.
Performs other duties as assigned.
