Tactical Operations Division The selectee of this position serves as a Supervisory Electronics Technician. You will be responsible for directing and managing OST CSO Radio personnel.
GS-14 TIME IN GRADE REQUIREMENTS: Merit promotion applicants must meet applicable time-in-grade requirements to be considered eligible. One year at the GS-13 grade level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-14 grade level. (Must submit your SF-50 that shows Time-in-Grade eligibility and reflects your title, series, and grade. No award SF-50 will be accepted). You may qualify at the GS-0856-14 level, if you fulfill the following qualifications: Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) Providing technical and analytical advice on Land Mobile Radio System and Network; 2) Evaluates the effectiveness of a network system and its security measures; 3) Managing, directing, and implementing new projects to enhance a radio program and its infrastructure; and 4) Plans and assigns work to be accomplished by subordinates. As a Supervisory Electronics Technician at the GS-0856-14 level, some of your typical work assignments may include: Develops, coordinate, and implement strategic plans, policies, and control systems that align with organizational goals and ensure secure, efficient, and effective program operations. Supervise, mentor, and evaluate staff, including providing guidance, resolving personnel issues, and ensuring high-quality work performance. Directs the development, coordination, and implementation of strategic plans including mission, goals, objectives, and implementation strategies.
