To qualify for a LEAD IT SPECIALIST (SYSADMIN/INFOSEC) GS-2210-13, your resume and supporting documentation must support: A. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-13 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military, or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes: Prepares reports and maintains records of work accomplishments and administrative information, as required and coordinates the preparation, presentation and communication of work-related information to the supervisor. Provide technical guidance, analysis, advice, and troubleshooting/problem resolution on a wide range of operational problems. Isolates, identifies, analyzes, evaluates and resolves hardware, software and/or communications problems as they relate to web services. Participate in planning, designing, conducting and evaluating the results of feasibility and hardware\software performance studies and environmental tests of next generation of assigned products for enterprise implementation. Reviews contract proposals, individually and on agency headquarters teams, to ensure requirements are adequately met prior to award of contract. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Ensures that the organization's strategic plan, mission, vision and values are communicated to the team and integrated into the team's strategies, goals, objectives, work plans and work products and services.
Provides Tier 3 DLA Enterprise level support for COTS Application, Enterprise Infrastructure Application Support Branch for the NIPRNET, SIPRNET, and Operational Technology (OT) environment.
Responsible for design, implementation and sustainment efforts of DLA server-based computing to include the DLA Enterprise Monitoring and OT environments.
The IT Specialist participates in the planning and scheduling installation of new or modified hardware, OS and Application software as it is related to Enterprise monitoring and OT.
Participate in the evaluation of methods, techniques and procedures designed to improve the overall efficiency of the IT environment.
Represents the team consensus and conveys the team's findings and recommendations in meetings.
Dealings with other team leaders, program officials, the public and other customers on issues related to or that have an impact on the team's objectives, work products and tasks.
