Job Description:
You will serve as a POLICE OFFICER (INSTRUCTOR) in the FORCE PROTECTION of NAVAL SUPPORT ACTIVITY ORLANDO.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-08 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Preparing course materials in the field of law enforcement; 2) Providing up-to-date material and information to students; 3) Conducting lectures, discussions, conferences, and demonstrations on law enforcement, investigative techniques, procedures, and practical applications; 4) Identifying training needs and requirements of each law enforcement student, ensuring training is scheduled and completed. You will develop law enforcement training programs, schedules, personnel actions, and operating plans for a police force.
You will facilitate classroom studies for law enforcement personnel using instructional techniques or formats (e.g., role playing, simulations, team exercises, group discussions, videos, lectures).
You will conduct field inspection of weapons assigned to law enforcement personnel.
You will monitor assigned weapons to ensure accountability.
You will identify law enforcement employee development needs to verify performance goals are met.
