You will serve as a ELECTRONIC INDUSTRIAL CONTROLS MECHANIC SUPERVISOR I in the PIPE SHOP, PRODUCTION RESOURCES DEPARTMENT of PORTSMOUTH NAVAL SHIPYARD.

The Screen-out Element for this position is: ABILITY TO LEAD OR SUPERVISE: Ability to perform oversight, coaching and mentoring of Mechanical, Electrician, and Electronic Industrial Controls mechanics during the performance of preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and other types of work orders. Using the Electronic Facilities and Equipment Maintenance application (eFEM) for the execution of maintenance work orders. Understanding the trade of a fully qualified Electronics Industrial Controls Mechanic (EICM). Resolving working problems and taking necessary corrective action to overcome such delays as bottlenecks, equipment breakdown and material shortages. You will provide performance evaluation and feedback to work leaders and journeymen.
