You will serve as a SUPERVISORY SAFETY AND OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH MANAGER for the NAS KINGSVILLE TX.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. You will conduct root cause analysis of personal injury and industrial mishaps to identify contributing factors and recommend preventive measures.
You will use Safety and Occupational Health principles, practice and procedures to develop and recommend the implementation and management of safety and health programs.
You will perform required announced and unannounced inspections of facilities to detect hazardous and undesirable operating conditions.
You will compose reports to provide recommendations on safety issues to individuals inside or outside of the organization based on data analysis results.
