You will serve as a SUPERVISORY FIREFIGHTER in the MARINE CORPS FIRE AND EMERGENCY SERVICES of MARINE CORPS AIR GROUND COMBAT CTR.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Directing and training firefighters in the operation of firefighting vehicles and equipment, rescue operations, EMS management and the reduction and/or elimination of potential hazards. You will develop, coordinate and implement programs, policies, regulations and procedures.
You will ensure that all personnel follow safe work practices and take corrective action to ensure a safe working environment.
You will be responsible for analysis of any particular emergency situation to establish lifesaving medical priorities without medical advice or directions.
You will respond and provide supervision as an integral member of a hazardous material team at the hazardous material technician level.
You will respond to all medical emergencies as an Emergency Medical Technician.
You will respond and provide supervision on all confined space/trench rescues.
You will assure the protection and maintenance of all fire apparatus and equipment is maintained in high state of operation readiness.
