You will provide cybersecurity analysis for information system assessment processes for all Navy IT systems, sites, and networks requiring assessment under the DON Cybersecurity policy.
You will assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of the cybersecurity assessment processes for the Navy IT systems (GENSER and below) as defined in OPNAVINST 5239.1 series.
You will provide cybersecurity assessment support and guidance throughout the system life cycle collaborating with all assessment stakeholders on cybersecurity matters; as well as collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
You will apply theories, principles, practical concepts, processes and systems related to systems engineering in an engineering and operational environment.
You will analyze and study performance requirements such as technical risks, capabilities and limitations of functionality, reliability, failure analysis, quality assurance, maintainability, and affordability of each system.
