Job Description:

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the Assistant Secretary of Navy (FM&C)
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Serve as an advisor to senior management on the development, implementation and revision of budget submissions. Proscribes procedures governing preparation/ administration of budget and budget plans. Direct or perform analysis and appraisal of major operating and support programs within an organization. Experience reviewing and evaluating budget requests and developing budget plans. You will generate, recommend, and implement new and revised financial management concepts, internal controls, methodologies, policies, and strategies in support of the organization’s programs.
You will direct and/or perform continuing program execution review, analysis and appraisal of the major operating and support programs within the organization.
You will prepare briefs for senior managers on program execution and provide recommendations to correct program variances or problem areas.
You will provide interpretive and analytical advice on financial transactions and program execution; develop format and content to provide manager with various listing, reports, and data relative to status of funds and the propriety of obligations.
You will coordinate the development and reporting of cost/performance information in support of mission tasks for the organization.
