You Are:
An Enterprise Solution Architect with deep expertise in Manufacturing and Supply Chain ERP solutions, specifically across JD Edwards (JDE) and Infor ERP product suites.
You understand the operational realities of plant operations, production scheduling, materials management, procurement, inventory, warehousing, distribution, and logistics—and you can translate those requirements into scalable, modern ERP system architectures.
You are skilled at engaging with prospective customers, shaping business‑value‑driven ERP solutions, and guiding organizations through transformations involving JDE EnterpriseOne/World and Infor CloudSuite/M3/Syteline/LN manufacturing and SCM modules. You thrive in collaborative design sessions, executive discussions, and presales environments where clarity of value and solution feasibility are essential.
The Work:
Your primary responsibility is to serve as a Solution Architect for manufacturing and supply chain transformation opportunities—ranging from targeted capability enhancements to large multi‑tower managed services and modernization programs.
You will leverage deep solutioning and delivery experience in manufacturing & SCM modules, including production planning, shop‑floor execution, quality management, warehouse operations, transportation, scheduling, forecasting, and supply chain orchestration.
You will collaborate directly with clients to co‑create solutions, address operational bottlenecks, and design the next‑generation ERP landscape that supports predictable, resilient, and efficient manufacturing operations.
This role requires advanced proficiency in JDE and Infor manufacturing/supply chain capabilities, integrations, automation technologies, and ERP operational management models.
Lead Pre‑Sales Architecture & Solutioning for Manufacturing + SCM:
Lead the design, scoping, and architecture for Manufacturing and Supply Chain solutions across JDE and Infor ERP during the presales cycle.
Architect solutions that address core processes such as:
Production planning (MPS/MRP)
Shop floor control & work order execution
Inventory & materials management
Procurement & supplier management
Warehouse management & logistics
Quality management & compliance
Manufacturing cost accounting & product costing
Define detailed delivery models, operational processes, SLAs, KPIs, and service frameworks.
Drive Modernization & Operational Improvement:
Analyze customer environments and manufacturing/SCM workflows to identify opportunities for modernization, automation, and process optimization.
Recommend future‑state architectures including:
JDE Orchestrator automation
Infor ION‑based integrations
Mobility, barcode scanning, and warehouse automation
Cloud migration (private/public/CloudSuite)
Master data governance & supply chain synchronization
Provide transformation roadmaps that align ERP capability maturity with business priorities.
Represent the Solution to Senior Operational & IT Stakeholders:
Present solution architectures, manufacturing value cases, and supply chain optimization opportunities to plant leaders, operations executives, supply chain organizations, CIO groups, and finance stakeholders.
Clearly articulate operational impact, resilience benefits, and total cost of ownership across proposed solutions.
Drive Internal Governance & Delivery Alignment:
Lead Technology Delivery approvals—ensuring alignment with operational processes, risk profiles, budget constraints, and delivery feasibility.
Coordinate with Legal and Commercial teams to ensure clarity in scope, service definitions, deliverables, responsibilities, and contractual risk positions.
Collaborate Across Sales, SMEs, and Delivery Teams:
Work closely with sales teams, manufacturing/SCM SMEs, solution leads, and delivery architects to validate solution architecture.
Ensure continuity between presales solution architecture and delivery execution via estimates, resource models, and transition plans.
Promote Standards & Integration Best Practices:
Promote standardized ERP processes and templates across JDE & Infor ecosystems.
Define integration architectures for connecting ERP with shop‑floor systems (MES), WMS, TMS, forecasting systems, sensors/IoT devices, and external suppliers.
Support Early Deal Stabilization:
Participate in deal stabilization activities for manufacturing & supply chain engagements to ensure a smooth handoff from presales to delivery.
Travel may range from 0% to 100% depending on deal stage, client discussions, and business need
