Job Description:

You will serve as a Financial Management Analyst in Comptroller Department, Accounting Division the of PSNS and IMF.
GS-11: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: applying working knowledge of fiscal law, accounting, and financial data to perform accounting and financial analysis and solve problems, provide decision support on financial and accounting policies, and manage financial management programs. GS-09: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: applying working knowledge of fiscal law, accounting, and financial data to perform accounting and financial analysis and provide decision support on financial and accounting policies. You will be providing information about, and interpreting standard organizational budgetary, accounting, or financial administrative procedures, practices, and regulations.
You will be researching guides to locate accounting, budgetary and financial information and preparing summaries for use by managers.
You will be performing specialized work involving managerial or administrative work in connection with accounting systems; analytical, forecasting, and interpretive functions associated with the management and control of resources or funds.
You will be tracking and controlling funds for special programs, analytical or program work pertaining to payroll, cash control, or benefit systems.
You will apply analytical reasoning skills to identify, analyze, and conceptualize budgetary problems and develop alternative solutions and methods of funding.
You will formulate budget estimates for programs in which funding requirements have changed significantly.
You will also be performing a variety of other fiscal, accounting, or financial management duties and responsibilities.
