THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 5 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (MILITARY), Position Description Number T6382000 and is part of the 106TH RQW, National Guard. This vacancy does not meet the criteria for appointment of annuitants.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must have 1-year specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade. Specialized experience factors encompass human resources program's business competencies, familiarity with the subject matter or processes used in human resources programs associated with DoD, U.S. Army, or U.S. Air Force. Must have experience and knowledge of military human resources policies, rules, guidelines, instructions, etc to understand the assigned program(s) and converse effectively with functional managers, advise commanders, customers, lower graded personnel, or lower echelons. Must have experience and ability to plan, organize work, administer, communicate effectively (both orally and in writing), meet deadlines, gather, analyze data/products, and summarize facts in order to determine adequacy and/or deficiencies of assigned programs. This position, located in an ANG Wing Force Support Squadron, directs a small team consisting of 2-4 subordinate Full-time CSS personnel supporting Commander's Support Staff (CSS)and Orderly Room (CCQ) operations at the Group level. The incumbent oversees CSS/CCQ functions; ensures efficient daily administrative support and manages military program execution per the Personnel Services Delivery Guide (PSDG). Responsibilities include training and mentoring personnel to maintain mission readiness and compliance with Air Force policies.
