Job Description:

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-02 (GS-11 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: planning and analyzing logistics program requirements to develop comprehensive support plans or implement corrective actions; and coordinating multiple logistics functions, such as supply, maintenance, or procurement, to meet program milestones. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
You will plan, develop, and execute budgets for critical logistics programs, including Fleet Support and Test Measure and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE).
You will serve as a primary SSP point of contact and liaison between program offices and the submarine fleet to ensure their weapon system logistic requirements are met.
You will develop, manage, and evaluate Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) plans for major, highly complex weapons systems throughout their entire life cycle.
You will conduct comprehensive studies to analyze logistics program effectiveness, resolve complex issues, and develop recommendations for corrective actions and strategic improvements.
You will integrate and coordinate separate logistics functions—such as supply, maintenance, procurement, and quality assurance—to provide seamless, cradle-to-grave support for fielded weapons systems.
