Job Description:
You will serve as a SUPERVISORY IT SPECIALIST (PLCYPLN) in the Information Technology and Cyber Security Office (Code 109) of PSNS and IMF.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Conducting operational planning involving strategic plans, workforce planning, resource management and policy and standards development in the IT environment. Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving. You will manage staffing levels and work assignments to effectively assign work to subordinates.
You will identify and address IT workforce planning and management issues, such as recruitment, retention, and training.
You will develop new techniques and establish new approaches and methods for information technology policies, plans, and procedures.
You will provide policy guidance to information technology management, staff, and customers.
You will manage and perform assignments involving review of contractor proposals.
You will manage the implementation, publication, and dissemination of information processing planning and/or procedural standards to the user community.
You will serve as a project manager and coordinate required actions for implementing IT initiatives to improve command and customer capabilities.
