This position is located at DFMWR White Sands Missile Range, New Mexico Refusal of a military spouse to participate in established recruitment procedures is considered a declination of employment and is a basis for termination of SEP entitlement for the current PCS of the sponsor. A qualified candidate must possess the following: 1. Demonstrated ability to performs the duties described above. 2. Must have and retain a valid drivers license. The above minimum qualifications must be described within the duties of previous work experience listed on the applicant's resume and/or supporting documents. A copy of all documents must be submitted at the time of application. ** Highly Preferred - Resume must demonstrate experience in the highly preferred criteria. ** 1. Minimum of one year working in a customer service environment. 2. Previous experience working as a mechanic and/or knowledge of standard automobiles and recreational vehicle mechanics. Applicants that meet the Highly Preferred criteria will be referred to management for consideration first. All others may be referred if management does not make a selection from the Highly Preferred list.
Issues/receives and takes reservations for recreational equipment and facilities to authorized users to include campers, trailers, small item camping equipment.
Cleans and repairs recreation equipment and facility areas. Operates equipment and performs self-help maintenance on facilities and equipment. Test mechanical equipment for serviceability after each use.
Collect applicable fees for items issues, accounts for monies collected, safeguards funds, and make daily bank deposits.
Coordinates with program staff to ensure adequate equipment is available in sufficient time to conduct programmed activities.
Arranges furniture and equipment for various types and sizes of events, set-up and tear-down of special event equipment.
